September is go time for ocean coho (silver) salmon fishing in Seattle. These adult fish begin rolling into the Puget Sound as early as late August and become the stars of the show on our charters throughout September and into early October.

In June, salmon fishing reopens in Seattle! Anglers can look forward to the opportunity of catching King salmon and resident Coho salmon as they fatten up for the spawn, as well as Lingcod and Flounder during the first half of the month.

When the month of April rolls around, we are in search of the early Spring Chinook that show up in the Puget Sound in limited numbers. April fishing consists of a mix between blackmouth (Winter Chinook salmon) and early Spring Chinook salmon. These two fish congregate in the same areas and their common denominator is their urge to feed and get big and fatten up.
